I am not sure that Escobar has a ton of value.

He isn't young, has had multiple instances of stupid behavior and a few seasons of poor production. At 26 it may be possible to convince someone of upside at 30 you tend to be what you are and he seems to be a pain in the ass that doesn't hit well enough to overcome his BS.
