Just received an an email alert from CT about the issue, nearly 2 hours after the fact (was sent at 7:05). Glad to see transit communicating with their standard level of competence.

As of approximately 5:15pm, CTrains along 7 Avenue are experiencing major delays, as well as along the south CTrain line near 39 Avenue Station.
Crews are working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
