The whole landscape of strip clubs has changed and you can blame the 88 winter Olympics for that. Up until that time strip clubs were a ton of fun. You could lay on the stage with a dollar bill in your mouth and the dancer would facilitate the motorboat to remove it. There were duos, there were props, there was customer interaction. there were no loonies.
I had a lot of good times at French Maids up until then. Also consider beers, at least Labatts were $2 after midnight.
Then the Olympics came along and so did all the rules to take the fun out of it. Throwing loonies at them has always been a disgusting practice to me and I've never done it.
I will always cherish the memories I have of French Maids, the Spotlight, the Beacon, The Stampeder, Mistys, etc. etc forever. Screw you modern day rules and regulations.

On a side note, I was in Ottawa a couple of years ago, and I found being asked if I wanted a lapdance every 5 minutes very annoying.
