Display is far too big I believe. The amount of displays they don't use due to imperfections on the 9" iPad is quite high... on a 27" it would be huge. Not to mention the processor drain on pushing that many pixels probably wouldn't be an efficient trade-off.

At that screen size, a retina display would be ridiculously expensive.
