I still peruse the old sim forum on occasion and noticed Mitch was hired for the Canucks job.

Mitch is a GM in the NHLSL and I can assure you all that you are going to love him. He is enthusiastic, active, and on MSN regularly.

He doesn't sit back and expect trade offers to roll in and then dismiss them. He identifies players he wants and he goes after them. He's got a great attitude and is pleasant to talk to.

He also goes out of his way to volunteer to help out with league duties. He manages our waivers for us.

I'm glad he got on with a team such as the Canucks, he is going to be a breath of fresh air.

There are a handful of GMs who will likely not care to hear an endorsement of Mitch because it comes from me, and I accept that, but he'll win you all over soon enough.

You just hired a GM who is going to be a great addition to an already solid core of active GMs.
