I am partial to Samsung phones myself, the last three have all been Samsung and I have had zero issues. My Captivate is running the latest 4.1.2 JB as well and holding its own doing it.

I have the Galaxy Nexus and absolutely love it. But, I love for how easy it is to customize with kernels and ROMs and I know a lot of you are not looking for that. I have not had much of an issue with the 16GB of storage with plenty of photos and music on it. It sounds like Google is really trying to push its cloud services so I do not see the new Nexus coming with expandable storage. I use Box, Dropbox and Drive for cloud service and outside of data consumption I have no issues moving files around.

I will definitely be getting another Nexus phone and will more than likely wait on a Samsung release.
