Perhaps you went through so many phases that you forgot which one you were infatuated with the most. At least, that's my excuse. I recall wanting to be an astronaut, a fighter pilot, a hockey player, a detective, a scientist....ummmm... But I still can't answer the question. I don't think any of those career possibilities stuck for much longer than a couple months here or there.
I wish my parents were a little more inquisitive about what I wanted to be around the time I got to high school, because that was about the time I stopped wondering, and as a result, I ended up wasting a few years doing stupid jobs and bouncing around from program to program at SAIT.
I plan on really encouraging my daughter to explore and consider all the possibilities running through her mind, as far as careers go. And if she wants to be a housewife, that'll be fine. As long as it's not because she never bothered to think about it.
