However, even if he did have his foot on the gas, so what? What is it about football fans that make them bedwetters when the score is lopsided. The other team is still trying, and there's no Geneva convention on how you must handle yourself if you are up by 36. If the flames get a power play in the 3rd and are up 5-1, they still send 5 skaters out, they still try to score. Fans don't run in circles with their arms flailing like the can't believe they scored to make it 6-1!
