I used to have a buddy in high school who was French from Quebec... and of course everybody back then called the French frogs.

He said the French called us English, squareheads. I never could figure out why and it seemed like a stupid thing to call us... not on par at all with frog.

But now that I think of it, maybe he meant blockhead..
