Under the new deal, the Florida Panthers actually have a chance at keeping the current 2005-06 team together. After all of the hardwork, it would be a shame fro GM Penney to have to sell off some of his players to meet the cap requirement.

The Florida Panthers would like to thank all those involved with the process and they have high hopes for the 2006-07 season.
