I wore my Lions jersey to Oakland, and while the Raider fans weren't exactly hospitable, they weren't overly threatening either. They do the faux-intimidation thing, getting in your face and growling or whatever, but if you take it good-natured and laugh it off, they laugh and go their own way. We sat in the corner by the black hole, with the skull and skeleton guys all around us. I don't think it's worse than anywhere else in the arena. After all, those are expensive seats so those guys are probably software developers or something Momday to Friday. Or drug dealers ha. I'm sure it can get worse in the cheap seats.
The Lions ended up winning that game and I did cover up with a hoodie to get to the BART though! Getting out of there without incident seemed like a good idea.
As for the stadium it's not that bad. Good beer and food selections, it always seems nice and warm there no matter what the weather is in SF. It's no Qwest Field but it beats the crap out of McMahon Stadium too.
