I had all 4 of mine pulled over seven years ago, I don't remember how exactly how long it was before I started eating soild food- a few days I'm sure. I remember eating lots of pudding and scrambled eggs.
My only advice would be make sure you keep your sockets clean. My sister and I both got our done on the same day, I was totally fine but she got a case of lock jaw from her mouth being open too long. Anyhow, she couldn't open her mouth clean the sockets and she got an infection. I found it pretty funny, but she was in some serious discomfort.
