Keep in mind that GST/HST gets charged in addition to that, so for a $100 item it'll be about $34 in brokerage and taxes ($29 brokerage and $5 GST). So if the item and shipping totals $258 you're looking at a little under $300 total. |
One thing to keep in mind is that UPS's "premium" services include brokerage. So depending on what you're ordering, it is often cheaper to pay more up front for shipping and get free brokerage.
