No, there really doesn't. I'm not sure if you're questioning the legitimacy of the harassment, or why you'd have any reason to question that in the first place, but it definitely happens and the isolation that can come from it can be devastating, especially to a young person that isn't at a point in her life to realize that being isolated from those people is a good thing.
