I believe from the video she mentioned moving schools, homes, and even cities several times and each time someone tracked her down to do it all again. So her parent's definitely knew. Not saying it would be 100% possible for them to ban her from social media but I would have tried my best to remove them it from there life at least for several years.
I agree there is a lot more to the story but I can't fathom what she could have possibly done to deserve this kind of continuous torment. She was a kid who just wanted to belong and be a kid. She made some bad decisions to try and fit in but what happened to her is criminal.
Still many questions though. Were the people who tried to extort her on facebook the same people who tracked her from school to school? Was there any investigation into child porn charges for these people?
