I just watched a promo video for Honey Boo boo, and I just don't know what to say. It's almost depressing that people find this crap entertaining to the point where TV stations continue to degenerate to lower and lower levels to satiate the people that eat this crap up.

My ex watched Jersey Shore and all of those Housewives shows. Just such pathetic TV. Taking the worst qualities in people and splashing it all over TV as though it's cool to be a complete bitch.

How much more pathetic can it get? Watching a stoner sit in his parents' basement playing video games? Just a 24 hour feed. Here you go, lemmings. This is as pathetic as it gets. A 500 pound midget stoner that eats bricks of cheese and rips his headset off and has a tantrum when the other guy cheats. Channel 1

Channel 2? Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. A big fat disgusting pig of a woman that is raising all her kids to be fat. Congratulations.

Channel 3 - Housewives of Beverly Hills. Disgusting plastic bitches with gigantic, nasty lips that talk sh*t about each other all day and all night, and brag about being rich. Primetime TV.

Channel 4 - Jersey Shore. Pathetic, useless twentysomethings that care more about their hair than their life skills. But who needs life skills when you're orange? Physically f'n orange. I guess when you're orange they put you on TV and pay you. Just do your hair, be orange, and act like a 10 year old. Here's $50,000.

I mean, seriously. This is the crap on TV? It's no wonder that journalism is dead. No wonder that Newsweek is catering to this crowd. It obviously makes money. There's obviously a market. There's no use in being unbiased and boring news source when people want garbage drama. It wont be long before the evening news just dies altogether. But before it does, the producers will try anything to keep it on the air. Just find a fat orange midget for a news anchor and that'll give it a couple more years.
