Auto update is just one more annoying thing about Android that I have to disable. It's ridiculous that Google puts that must trust into an un-curated app store, where anyone and their dog can publish any update they want to and have it automatically downloaded onto people's devices.

But don't you see how with Android's approach they're making two types of people happy (me, because I can automatically update my apps, and you, because you have a bunch of free time to nitpick app improvements)? With Apple, only the people that like doing extra steps for no reason are happy, but people like me who have better things to do are left annoyed.
