Get your Red Sox tickets on StubHub. You'll overpay, but at least you'll know you have tickets, and StubHub has a guarantee if the tickets are bad.

Since it's a bachelor party, I assume there will be drinking involved: Have a drink at the original Cheers bar, it's right on Beacon Street across from a huge park (inside looks nothing like the bar on the show). You can also do the tour at the Samuel Adams brewery.

Boston has a really good transit system, so it's easy to get around without a car. If you're interested in the historical stuff, the Freedom Trail is easy to walk.
