And I do believe running as a tandem is the way to go since only 12 of the Heat's games all season have a day off both before and after the game. They have 24 sets of back to backs and another 6 sets of back to back to backs, them being off away from every other team makes their schedule very tough.

I think Irving will get 2/3 of the starts. I can't confirm that, but it's just a feeling I have.
As for whether it'll be Taylor or Brust, that's a decision I'm glad I'm not making. If it's based truly, 100% on merit (like Flames management preaches), then it has to be Brust that stays up. However, if it's based solely on past achievements with the team, like you mentioned, then it'll be Taylor.
If Taylor plays like he was at the end of last season and Brust continues to play like he did during training camp and carries that into the regular season, then you can't really go wrong with either.
