I'm looking at front headlights on Mec.ca for winter biking when it gets dark out at 4pm....ugh.

When I sort by high to low some of the lights are the price of a car payment while others seem quite cheap.

I'm not sure what exactly I should be looking for so any brand suggestions or other stores/websites I should be looking at would be appreciated.

My general route to and from work is mostly in unlit areas around the glenmore resevoir or through the Weaselhead.
