Triple crown means nothing to me. I don't understand how in 2012 batting average or RBI's can be given any merit. I think Cabrera came up to bat with something like 77 more men on base then Trout did. Trout was just and all around much better player then Cabrera this season.
Division status should mean something. The Angels had more wins then the Tigers! It should matter just for that simple fact. Indians, White Sox and Royals instead of the Athletics, Rangers and one of the best 2nd half team in the Mariners is without question worth nothing.
