I liked it a lot less than in theaters. Way too much cheesy dialogue and takes too long to get to its actions scenes. Also lots of inexplicable 'comic booky' type moments that stuck out.
i.e. Captain America flies from the hovercarrier (presumeably) somewhere over America to Germany in probably ten minutes. Fast jets!
And the whole end scene just bothered me this time... all these heroes who disappeared, who the official government is trying to find, who are basically celebrities, extricate their horrific war criminal in a busy park in the middle of the day. Using an item that has entirely no explanation. They just happened to have a warp device designed to perfectly fit the Tesseract and teleport both it and exactly two people to Asgard? How? Did Thor bring that with him? Didn't seem like it when he arrived out of the sky and landed on the airplane. A little too "convenient wrap up" for me. Stuff like that bothered me this time around :P
Also, Dark Knight Rises was a way better film... back when Avengers came out it wasn't released yet.
