I think it was more excitement for the team this year then hype. A good young core together, a few very promising young players, new jerseys, a good run of trades. For a big baseball fan who use to live in Canada, people were always so passive about the Jays. I was so excited to see some excitement about them this year! Besides Larry King LOL, nobody of any merit predicted the Blue Jays to even make the playoffs this year. But if this season taught us anything, baseball is so hard to predict.
