Realistically, the only issue with this project is the potential traffic issues. However, for me it's more of a drop in the bucket kind of feeling considering how bad traffic already is on McLeod trail to get over Fish Creek Park.
Quite honestly, what is the difference between 1,400 homes in Shawnee versus 1,400 in Chaparral or Silverado? It's still the same amount of cars trying to get over Fish Creek park in the only way possible, McLeod Trail. Actually, there are likely more cars if the homes were built in Chaparral or Silverado as they are all single family homes; at least the Shawnee development will have townhomes and condos which many people will buy to use the train exclusively.
