The fact that they're not in yet when they invented electronic music of ANY kind is ridiculous.
They indirectly or directly influenced literally everything that features electronic instruments. Back then, playing an electronic instrument ment mastering analog signal patching as well as the musical knowledge to back it up.
They didn't have a "stock" sound like a guitar or piano. They started with a basic analog "beep" and modulated it to sound exactly like they wanted. On their own. From scratch with no one to copy or learn from.
They're pioneers.
Imagine hearing this for the first time, when everything before it had been recordings of analog instruments.
They would be in there a long time ago if they were even half as popular in the US as they were in Europe
