Maybe the powers that be are realizing we don't want to just see celebrities parading around in their million dollar jewelry, looking for pats on the back.
The celebrities don't need to be coddled. Some of them actually can take a joke. Look at Depp. Gervais destroyed him and he took it in stride. Went on his show and joked around. It was great.
