I would like to see some more explanation on the Hulk/Banner and his sudden awareness. In the comics he was able to determine that the changes were triggered by emotional stress, so Banner saying "I'm always angry" was a sign but I think that only the Hulk nerds would know this.
If I remember correctly Banner wasn't able to control the Hulk until he turned grey in the 80's and then retained his full mental capacity. Of course when he went green again he was reduced to better than average intelligence.
Factoid - The Hulk was grey at first but the ink wasn't consistent and then green was chosen.
I'm not a Hulk nerd but I've read a few over the years and really enjoyed WWHulk and Planet Hulk.

Hulk (with Ed Norton) was the movie that leads to the Avengers for the Hulk and at the end doesn't it show him sitting in a room meditating and then his eyes turn green, which could explain that he can "hulk out" when he wants.
Hard to tell if that is what it was since it was made 4 years ago and the actors are different, but that's my theory.
