Wow, I hate to add to the derailing, but I actually feel sad knowing medical situations like this are so common in the States. It really makes you sit back and realize we take it for granted, what we have here in Canada.
All the doctor visits, the emergency room visits, the medication. All of these things would probably have me in debt for life, or bankrupt if I was American.
