Google says 34 minutes from my house to the Jacobs office in Quarry Park, and my current commute by train to downtown is 35 minutes. (Although I dont' work for Imperial, same area). If you believe that estimate, then someone from the NW would be no worse off. But that estimate isn't factual, especially for the way home as you mention. Northbound crowchild from the river to about 24th ave is a parking lot during rush hour.
