A summary of the people I know who cut themselves at work on band saws:

I personally only witnessed 2 of them, but the 3rd I heard the guy screaming from across the plant.

edit: Actually, I cant remember if the 3rd guy lost his left or right thumb, but they did manage to attach it back again.
