I have gone from a small pack every two days to a small pack once a week. And I only smoke after 5, and when my girlfriend isn't around. I'd probably have quit completely by now if she had a normal schedule.
I have found a big progress mark is that now I don't even think about smoking when I'm out drinking or at a party. I just never do it. That is a huge win for someone trying to quit.
The worst for me is sitting on my balcony after coming home from work and having one in the sunset. That one is hard to give up.
