Paying for myself and a bill about $25, I'll leave $40.

Paying for someone else and the bill about $50, I'll leave about $70.

Is a $10 tip unreasonable on a $25 meal?
That's kind of how I tip as well. I'm bad for big tips on small amounts and smaller, but still socially acceptable tips on bigger bills.
