But when you go with the "Well this one specific horrible call cost us the game" line, it's just too far fetched for me. Sure, maybe they made a terrible call that cost the Saints a TD. But you then assume that everything else in the game would go the exact same, which is foolish. The opponents game plan and approach might be radically different if that call was made. The refs have been bad, but every team can probably point to a few calls that cost them a game so far.
