BLOCKBUSTER TRADE ALERT!

TSN has learned that a blockbuster of a deal involving ten players is just being submitted to NHL offices as we speak.

The Los Angeles Kings have traded star D Tyler Myers, D Brent Burns, LW Alexander Semin, RW Teddy Purcell, and D Jakub Kindl to the Ottawa Senators.

In exchange the Senators have traded defenceman Ryan Suter, D Josh Gorges, C Travis Zajac, C Tim Connolly, and LW T.J. Galiardi to the Kings.

Los Angeles Kings GM Stealth22 spoke exclusively with TSN just moments ago. "This was a deal that was in the works for a while, but came together very quickly. We had been talking strictly just a one for one or two for two swap, and today Ottawa came us with this proposal. We needed to boost our top 6 badly, and we were offering Brent Burns in order to do it. We also were looking to move Alex Semin, and Ottawa was looking to move Tim Connolly. These are both skilled guys that could use a change in scenery. Travis Zajac and T.J. Galiardi were two guys that I had my eye on when I first started talking with silentsim, who's the GM in Ottawa. Both are guys that will fit in well in our top 6. We hated to give up Tyler. He is going to be a superstar in this league, and he's still very young. And Ottawa understood that, and they were willing to give up Ryan Suter in order to acquire him."

He continued on to say that Myers and Suter were not the center pieces of the trade. "I asked if they would do the deal without Suter and Myers. He said yes, but he couldn't make it work under the salary cap with the moves that they had made. I said 'Fair enough', and we did the deal. We sincerely believe that this trade makes our hockey club better."

When asked if the L.A. Kings were done making moves, he chuckled and replied, "For now, maybe. But a GM would be lying to you if he ever said every guy on his team was untouchable. Unless of course, you have 23 Sidney Crosby's."
