While trying not to sound dramatic, it went from molasses in January to molasses in March.

There was a "fix" eventually, which made it just barely usable, but it was still significantly slower than under the previous OS.
However, I did unlock it and I have used it as a travel phone. It isn't flashy, and most apps aren't compatible with iOS4 anymore, but it is better to be able to do things very slowly than not at all while travelling. But as a daily phone, I was ready to chuck it against a wall.
