I am quite confident that iOS6 will run nicely on my 4s, but I am always a little gun shy when it comes to Apple updates. iOS4 made my 3G slower than molasses in January, which left me feeling a little cheated.
I realize that Apple (and other tech companies, of course) enjoys obsolescence in order to drive sales on new models, but it leaves a bad taste when an update is made available for a device that could never handle it, and there is no official/easy way to roll back.
That being said, I'll probably update to iOS6 as soon as it is available.
