I say we take it to vote. Why not just use the new thread for everything including discussions, etc.. I don't find it a hassle to have CP and the new forum open at the same time. All browsers these days allow you to have as many tabs open at once.

Both of these concerns can be addressed with new threads.
A roster thread will have the first several posts reserved for up to date rosters of all 30 teams. Each post would be rosters of each division. So you would be able to have a quick reference to team rosters.
As for arranging games, a match making thread can be made. Though it would look cleaner on a separate forum, one megathread should be suitable.
