Michael Turner was charged with driving under the influence and speeding Tuesday morning, just hours after his team beat the
Denver Broncos on Monday night.
The 30-year-old Turner was released from the Gwinnett County Detention Center just after 5 a.m. on a bond of $2,179.
Lt. Sean Smith of the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office says the traffic citation given to Turner shows he was pulled over for driving 97 mph in a 65 mph speed zone.
