While I agree with you that we all knew this was a possibility, and thus went into this with eyes open, I think it was the Flames who first broke their committment to us by being amongst the 30 teams enforcing the lockout and not delivering the full 41 games plus 4 exhibitions. Now they want to keep as much of the money as possible for as long as possible despite their breach, even though they can't deliver what the contract with STHs states they should be.
But the fact is that they have the hammer (a huge wait list) and thus can get away with this. Sucks, but we have to live with it. That is why I'll be taking as much back as possible as games are cancelled while keeping the seats.
