We bought our V50 from Valentine, and probably had the nicest car buying experience ever (Tyler was the salesman). Great experience from start to finish. It's not just some place built for yuppie suckers who are scared of conflict, so you can still negotiate too....I just remember it being fair and without any tinge of sleaze.
A month after we bought (we bought an 08 certified), our battery died, and they without hesitation replaced it for free even though they weren't obligated to. That was very nice of them.
Service there seems to be a little expensive....but all dealers are. You can always take your car to Mr. Volvo for off-warranty work if you wish.
Btw, the XC90 is more or less a 10 year old platform. We will most likely see an all new one next year.....so you may want to wait. You'll get something new then, and probably be able to get a nice discount on the current gen if it's not that important.
Also, you may want to man up and not get a mommy mobile SUV. (sorry had to throw that in there.....I can't talk about crossovers without getting a shot in).
