I've been here long enough to know that there are some fantastic people on this forum with skill sets that go way beyond hockey. CP has all sorts of members with different kinds of expertise (Politics, Finance, Cars, Medicine, Science etc.).....so if you put out a question, most of the time you're going to get a solid answer from someone in the know. It might not be the answer you're looking for, or an answer that makes you feel good.....but chances are there will be truth and experience behind it. CP can be pretty brutal this way, but it's hard to bull#### around here.
If you were smart, you would take the advice you get here (with a grain of salt as always) and use it to your advantage.....and not create some BS woe-is-me tale of CP past.
