When I joined Rogers before the smartphone era you could upgrade once a year without any extra fee (other than the price of the phone). When they got popular, you could upgrade smartphones every two years. Then it became every 2.5 years and they introduced early upgrade fees for if you upgrade earlier thn that. And now it's the full 3 years if you don't want to pay the early fee.
If I upgrade now I pay the phone price + $156 (12 months left) + admin fee $35 I think ........oh yeah and AppleCare.
I feel like I'm talking myself out of the iPhone 5 more each day. Too bad I kind of need a new phone.
