$1300 for the root canal, I don't even want to wager a guess how much it'll cost for the crown. Now I'm thinking I should just get it pulled and have a bridge installed.

Are bridges permanent? Are they a hassle or come with their own set of problems? What can I expect to pay for a bridge? I see the dentist again next Tuesday. Would I even ned a bridge?
The same thing just happened to me. Small pain starts on the upper left side on tuesday night after hockey. Didnt think too much off it, wed comes along pain is still there. Take some drugs pain goes away and I brush my teeth good a couple of times and use scope thinking that maybe something is stuck up there that is causing me pain. Wake up wed night at 1am with throbbing pain, sit there until 4am wanting to kill myself and take a crap ton of pain meds and eventually fall asleep. Go to dentist at 10 get a root canal done. At least they didnt crack my tooth.
