I have an iPhone4 that I've dropped several times, even on ashphalt, and the only adverse affect is my volume switch sometimes switches just from pressing the top corner of my phone. Also, I put my phone in the laundry
one day and only realized this about 2 minutes later. Dried it out on top of a shoe placed on my furnace vent. I had to replace the battery and that was it. I was shocked that it still functioned perfectly after replacing the battery.
