I'm looking forward to seeing Garcia get inducted to the wall of fame tonight. The linked article brought back great memories of the way the Stamps used to absolutely blow teams out game in game out with Jeff at the helm during my junior high years. I remember him as a player who's athletic abilities never should have afforded him the opportunities he got, but yet his heart and mind willed him into NFL stardom via the CFL.
One particular game that stands out in my mind was when he came into the game on Labour Day in 1995 to relieve the injured Doug Flutie. The Stamps never missed a beat and Jeff proceeded to put up over 500 yards passing, 6 TDs, and blew out the Eskies 51-26. After that game I was no longer worried about how long Doug Flutie remained a Stamp as I knew they'd be in good hands.
