They have their own problems, if the crown is an option I'd go that way. I'm guessing the crown would probably be cheaper anyway. When I had my bridge installed they ground down the good teeth on either side to anchor it. If the tooth is in the back and non visible I would consider having it pulled if money is a problem . I had the bridge for about 10 years and did not enjoy it. It became uncomfortable over time and was a pain to clean.
The only way I would ever consider a bridge:
- Tooth couldn't be saved.
- Couldn't afford implants.
- Tooth was visible and pulling without filling the gap wasn't an option.
