Personally, I love the new game. The new skating physics makes the game so much more realistic. I also had a really hard time scoring for the first while as I kept trying to force the cross crease one timer as that was my staple last year. Eventually I started trying new things like actually cycling the puck and waiting for seams to open and am finding it much more enjoyable not being rewarded for doing the exact same play over and over. I still have some minor complaints (ie. stick lift almost always a penalty) but for the most part think they have made some really nice improvements, at least with the gameplay.
