Is there anything more annoying than the perpetual android vs apple debate? Android users are seemingly unwilling to accept that not everyone wants a phone that you can tinker with, that can look a hundred different ways, that can be customized, etc. I am not a tinkerer. I buy things that are good looking - I am willing to pay more for this privilege, and there is nothing wrong with that. Why should anyone else care? Apple has known how important this almost since its inception. Not working out too bad for them (yet, of course).

My phone integrates seamlessly with my computer, itunes, etc. It is 100% hassle-free and that is what is most important to me. Yes, half the reason I pay double for an iMac is because it looks cool on my desk. You caught me. I have never put a case on my phone because it looks awesome and cases are ugly.

A replaceable battery, a flip phone (holy lol), expandable memory, etc is NOT apple. It will never ever ever happen. If you wanted those things, than of course you were going to be disappointed. And you will be disappointed with the 5s, 6, 6s, 7, 7s, 8, 8s, so why bother getting worked up about it? Buy a samsung and be done with it.

I find the launch disappointing because I find the design a step back from the 4/4s aesthetically. Not because there wasn't a detachable battery.

I find the S3 ugly, ungainly, awkwardly large. I don't like having a million options to pick from. Android is not for me. The iphone is not for you. Can't we just be friends?

This is the first time I've ever weighed in on this debate and I'll probably regret it haha.
