Yes Iraq was ruled by a brutal dictator. However, there was hope of a revolution just as we've seen in Libya and Syria. I'm not suggesting that it was about to happen. Either way, it has little do to with what I said and isn't really relevant to the conversation. Not sure why it was brought up.

My point, in case you missed it, was that the West needs to learn from Iraq when dealing with Iran. If Israel does indeed strike against Iran it can not be with a scorched-Earth mentality and just hope that it'll turn out okay afterwards. Iraq is a lesson in what not to do.
