Your Blackfoot plan is fine. Sometimes I take that to Heritage in the mornings. After work (say around five), Blackfoot from Heritage to Southland is slow as balls, though. I think this is because there is only one right hand turn onto Southland off of Blackfoot and it's a yield. Entering Blackfoot north from Southland is better as it is a dual turning lane.
From Parkland along Acadia to Southland is 100% issue free every day...that'll be the easiest part of your commute for sure.
If you are serious about the move, maybe do a trial run of the commute one weekday.
